Tight Shirts, Puppies & A Sneak Peek

I've been obsessed with the Hip.stam.atic camera app for the i.Phone for quite a while now. Good thing this hasn't been made for the 'berry yet because if it had, I'd be snapping away like the papparazi. Check out these pics using the app...so much fun!

Yes, I really did take this picture at CV.S...J is thrilled! But secretly he likes this pic because his shirt is tight and he thinks he looks like he's 28. I know this because he made this his Twitt.er profile pic. Ha!

...and another one at Pa.ppa.sitos! Again, so thrilled. J's a natural. He just loves the camera. Can't you tell?

Reading on the i.Pad...then I remembered I could play games. So long iBook! Helloooo Diner.Dash!

Ohemgeeitsmybabeee!!! How much do I love her?! Too much! She's spoiled. And barks her ass off if she doesn't like you. Which really means, she's spoiled, but...

...just look at THIS face!!! How can you not spoil her?! I can't get over it!

And as a bonus, here's some 'before' pics of my classroom I took yesterday. Ignore what's on my bulletin board, that was there already and will be changed soon. I've been at school for a few hours a day starting to get things ready. Everything is clean and I've put all the things I've bought into my cabinets, just waiting. All the cute things are ready to make themselves at home! My room was finished being painted today and the floors were waxed a month ago, so I can set up whenever I want. But, I won't...just yet. I am chomping at the bit to start decorating. I could do it now, but I'd hate for things to get dusty before school starts. As Mr. Miyagi says, "patience, Daniel son. Patience." You thought I was going to say "wax on, wax/off" didn't you? ;)

4th Grade Hallway

View from my door - I love the two windows!

Whiteboard, Desk, etc.

Wall cabinets, cubbies & backpack/jacket hangers.

View of my door from the window side.

Another view...that's my new rug all rolled up in the packaging. It's ready to replace the current drab gray one. :)

Okay, that's it for now. I think my next post will be about our vacay to Hawaii....or....Sprin.kles Cup.cakes. They opened one here a few weeks ago and I've damn near been mistaken as an employee I'm there so much. Ta-ta for now! xoxo

OCD at it's best

How sick is this? It's 10:48 pm and not only is this my second blog for the day (after being m-i-a for months), but what I'm about to show you just goes to prove that I'm more type a than type b (personality that is).
Behold...my classroom layout via photoshop. This is borderline o-c-d, I hear ya.

One of my teacher friends shouted me out on bbm and said that Tar.get has their teacher/school stuff in their $ aisle. So...off I went and scored a ton of stuff for so cheap! Then, I decided to make my way to the $.Tree and got some more great stuff from there: stuff for the kiddos, stuff for me and stuff for my classroom. As I was trying to make a decision on how I'm going to decorate my room, I realized that the only way to sort out my ideas was to look at the layout. And since I didn't have a layout, I figured eh why not just make it? I'm self sufficient...I can do eeeet! Were there other ways to sort out my thoughts? Sure! But my nerdiness is not trying to hear it.

happy fall y'all!

i'm so happy that fall tv is back! i'm such a tv junkie and i just can't help it! it is impossible to watch all these shows when they come on - can you imagine? i'd never get off the couch if that were the case. that being said, the dvr comes in handy. for better or worse, here's my fall tv lineup:

gossip girl: loves it! chuck bass. blair waldorf. witty quotes. new york city.

how i met your mother: yes, i really do watch this! lol. i just want to know who the mother is!

the office: hilariously hilarious.

curb your enthusiasm: this season they're paying homage to seinfeld. can't wait!

entourage: i'm still a fan.

the city: hopefully someone slaps olivia palermo this season.

the hills: oh the drama!

mad men: i don't watch this now, but i am definitely going to start. i'm going to get seasons 1 and 2 to catch up. i've heard fantastic things about this show!

vampire diaries: omg so cheesy, but i do watch this. hey, true blood's season ended so i need my vampire smut addiction fulfilled.

the beautiful life: looks great, however haven't watched it yet. it's sitting in my dvr as i type.

..........and let's not forget the rest of the reality shows i'm still watching:

kourtney & khloe take miami: i was so excited at first to see this and now it's kinda boring, no?

rachel zoe project: "uugghh, i die!"

the real housewives of ____: "don't be tardy for the party!"

the amazing race: obsessed! love! still trying to convice J to do this together!

giuliana & bill: the only other reality show besides amazing race J will watch w/me. he likes bill rancic...umm i wonder why? bc he is his lost long twin!

....wow, that's a lot of tv watching! i promise i do other things besides watch tv! like...read! except, that summer reading list that i never completed will just have to wait...possibly until next summer. ;0)

i l-o-v-e technology!

Call me a nerdipants, but I loooove technology!! If I could do it over again, I would've become a web developer. I am seriously obsessed with all things techi and wonder why all cities aren't like Silicon Valley or downtown Manhattan. Just in case you're wondering what those two have in common: Google is housed in both places.

An ex coworker (waaahhh! I hate believing that I don't work there anymore!) sent me an invitation for Google Voice. Woo hoo!!! I'm seriously loving Google Voice right now! If you haven't noticed, I added a "call me" widget to this blog. That gets sent directly to my GV number. Pretty cool, huh?

What else am I loving right now? Twitter. OMG why wasn't I addicted to it before? Seriously! I am following 154 people...and let's just say probably 150 of them are celebrities. No joke, the celebs reply to you! AND you can see their tweets when they talk to other celebs. You thought TMZ spread news fast? Uh uh. Twitter is soo much faster. Case in point - I follow my girl, Giuliana Rancic (looove her). She is the one that posted that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush broke up...waaaaaay before TMZ or Usmagazine.com posted it. I actually announced it to some friends and they were scrambling for their phones looking to see if it was true. I know it may sound silly and maybe it is, but I love it. I think it's so much fun to read the celebs' tweets!! After a couple of days of playing around with it, I became an addict.

Technology just isn't there for social networking or catching a glimpse of your fave celeb's lives. It exists to help out business owners and job seekers. I swear to you, I could teach a social networking class. Some people just don't get it...and those are the people that will fall behind while technology keeps moving forward. For anyone who owns their own business - you can use Facebook and Twitter to advertise yourself and/or your biz, post links, etc. etc. @BrookeBurke advertises her modernmom.com items practically every hour! @Bethenny advertises her Skinny Girl recipes daily! @ToriandDean announced that their season finale was tonight. @MarthaStewart showed how to peel a potato properly. Twitter is fabulous! It's not the networking of the future, it's the networking of now...because NOW is the future! For those looking for a job - don't you know that linkedin.com is the way to go? Companies are using Linkedin now and it's a lot easier to get noticed than sifting through the hundreds of replies HR receives via Monster or Careerbuilder.

Technology is my hero.
