And it doesn't just pertain to kids.
Or adults.
I've found out first hand that it also pertains to pets - specifically, my maltipoo, Sasha.
Minus the barking she does at strangers, Sasha is a well behaved gal. She is also potty trained like you wouldn't believe. And for the record, we still take her on walks, twice a day...and she's still using the potty on the concrete. What can I say? You can take the dog out of new york city, but you can't take the new york city out of the dog. I feel ya, girl.
So, all this being said, Sasha is pretty much loose in our house. She does follow us around a lot, but for the most part, we don't really put her in her crate until it's time to go to sleep. Sometimes, she'll even fall asleep on the couch in our bedroom and J will put her in her crate a little later.
Well, hmmm...how should I put this? Let me just get to it.
Houston, we have a little problem.
When J and I have sexy time, we're not really thinking about Miss S. We're not thinking about putting her up in her crate, well because frankly, most of the time our sexy time isn't planned. It just happens and yeah, we like it like that. Holler. Besides, Sasha isn't exactly watching us - gross! Frankly, I could even almost swear that she's nowhere near us when sexy time hits.
Apparently, J and I are wrong.
For the last two nights, Sasha has tried to hump my leg, and after pushing her off and screaming 'eeeeewwww', she turned to hump J's leg (which he finds funny). This happened while J and I were in bed (me reading Glamour and J watching espn). I can't believe it! What the hell is my dog doing?! And where did she learn this from?!
Answer: "I learned it by watching you."
Touche.
