NYC's version of a driving range - Chelsea Piers
We went to Chelsea Piers a couple of weekends ago to check out the driving range. The Hubby was a little anti about this, as he thinks it's a bit too commercial. I dunno - maybe this is too amateur for him? Okay Tiger, take it easy. Anywho, we ended up having a blast and might I add that he was quite impressed at my drives. They have automatic tees which - hence the description - tee your ball automatically. I got a quick lesson on bending my knees more before Hubby started asking me to take pictures of HIS swing. Well, oops! I left my camera at home, but will my phone camera be okay? To quote him: "Of all the times you forget your camera, you'd forget it today?" So just for that, my camera is gonna be around even more than it was before! LOL.
Two Norwegian Cruiseline Ships passed by Chelsea Piers while we were there which was pretty cool to see! And, as if that wasn't good enough, I met Jason Kidd! I'm not really a fan of his, but as I was putting my flip flops back on, he was standing right in front of me and I'm staring at him, thinking to myself, he looks really familiar. And then it clicked! So I asked him if he was Jason Kidd, which he replied a very stern (borderline rude) "yes" to and then said "hello" in a more polite fashion. What happens when you don't make the playoffs? You hit golf balls at Chelsea Piers.

This was totally my practice swing...I mean, the golf ball is STILL on the tee!! LOLLLL.
Okay, I admit it...you're a great golfer. Reason #720 why I'm attracted to you - because you're a great athlete (and not in a pretend sort of way - you really are!) Love you!
